Teaching Philosophy

Learning should be fun, meaningful, and co-created with students. I see classrooms as communities of practice that embody the worlds we hope to build — valuing life experience, practicing co-determination, and committing to anti-racist and anti-colonial ways of gathering and working.

Since there is no teaching without learning, my courses center student agency, active and experiential learning, and real-world application.
